*******************************************************************

Here come the Quail

All of the sudden there were Quail families every where.

For the next hour there were at least 4 to 6 families of Gambles Quail in the area wanting/waiting to get a drink.

************************************

But the Harris Antelope Squirrels beat'em to it.

Looks like everyone's beat'n it before those Quail get here, so I better hurry up & get my drink.

**********************************

After the Rabbits left the water filled back up to the top.

***************************************

Now that all has left I better bring my family in for a quick drink.

I'll let DAD drink first.

**********************************

OK all it's nice fresh water just right for drinking.

**********************************************

Tell those darn old Doves to get out of here, would'ya so I can call the kids up for a drink.

*******************************

OK, get over there and start drinking.

*********************************************

You'd better hurry up before someone else gets to it first.

***************************

The Quail have taken over the water hole now.

*******************************************

*******************************************

And just when ever thing was going so well,
the BIG HOPPERS returned for one last drink.

****************************

******************************

I'm gettin one last drink before them-there ole Quail drink all of the water up, so there.

And He did drink it almost dry again.

*************************************

It's noon now and to dam HOT for any human with good sense to be out in this heat.

One last look at that ole Thermometer

Next time I'll bring an egg to see it I can cook it on the desert floor.

If it cools down a bit I will be back, but this is to much for me.
