It is my belief that the Old Man Cactus was Cephalocereus senilis but then who am I to doubt the experts?
From tropical and subtropical Mexican habitats. This is a very slow growing cactus. They can grow up to 50 feet in about 200 years in the wild. Indoors they only geet to 3 freet or so. Must be over 20 years old to bloom and then it only blooms at night. A trumpet shaped bloom white, pink or yellow.
