The Annotated checklist of the Birds of Arizona only shows sightings in 1976 & 1977
Two years ago a person running the Citrus research farm in the extreme western Phoenix area.
I think it was off Citrus road, but cannot remember just where.
Any way he called and told me he was seeing Blue Jays in his orange trees.
I drove out there and did see one Blue Jay but could not get a photograph of it.
Being from Iowa I did know what one looked like and it was a Blue Jay.
I looked around for an hour or 2 but only saw one Blue Jay.
The images below are from when I lived in Iowa, and while visiting my son in Greensborrow, N. C..

In my Iowa back yard.
Had to keep a heater in the water in the winter time.

In the following images I will show the different views of the Blue Jay so that you can see it from all angles.

The bird in the foreground is a Northern Cardinal

Like I have always said, when photographing the birds get views from as many angles as possible.
