Plain Chachalaca

A very long tailed bird with shoet rounded wings. 22 to 24 inches long.
A very noisy bird but alsovery secretive.

Note the redish patch of bare skin on throat. When not in the breeding season it's sort of grayish.

Even though you can't see it the tail is green with a white tip.
