For these 5 chicks we know the egg came first.

There really is 5 chicks in this nest.

This big green grub sure doesn't do much for my appetite
but those chicks can hardly wait to down it.

And of course there are those nest duties that have to be attended to.
The male parent is carrying off a fecal sac.

This is the female Bluebird looking over her 5 chicks
and they all lived happily ever after.
